About Momentary Images

I am lucky enough to have been born, bred and brought up and live on the edge of the Moray Firth in the north of Scotland. Scotland has so much to offer in terms of inspirational scenery. The area around me starts off at sea level with the array of beaches and cliff formations, rising up over farmland, through the lush woodlands and forrests, then on to the ruggedly beautiful moors until climbing to the soaring plateaus and peaks of the Cairngorm National Park. The area is steeped in history with an abundance of Neolithic sites, Castles and Palaces, including Cawdor Castle made famous by Shakespear's "Macbeth" and Urquhart Castle overlooking the Loch of legend, Loch Ness. The bloody battlefield of Culloden, through to Fort George, the mightiest artillery fortification in Britain, built in 1769 and still in use today. Wildlife is all around, Red Deer in the hills, even Britain's only Riendeer herd at the Cairngorm Riendeer centre, Golden Eagles soaring high, and the MOST FEARED of all creatures...... the Midge! The area is rapidly gaining popularity with tourism, the National Geographic even published an article which rated the Moray Coast to be among the top 99 coastlines in the world for its mix of stunning scenery and strong community spirit. I hope my work inspires you to come and see for yourself.
